NTU X CASTLE ROCK BREWERY X WIGFLEX
THE BRIEF
The brief tasked our group to help reconnect Wigflex with audiences post-covid by partnering with Castle Rock brewery to create a range of bespoke beers. The beers mirror Wigflexs ethos and personality to feature in the “The Beer Expo”.
PROJECT APPROACH
As a group we decided to segregate the work load by each member taking a role they wouldn’t normally choose or their weaker areas of skill. Aiming to all develop gaps within our skill sets.
PROJECT RESULT
The brief stated ‘we all know beer and music go hand-in-hand,’ so we created a design where a hand print was the key motif. The cans have psychedelic features from 90s rave flyers, tying craft beer and nightlife together.
PROJECT LEARNING
The relationships I made on a professional level during this project were one of my key take aways. Giving roles out to weaker areas limited the outcomes potential, but was an interesting learning experience. Overall it was an absolute pleasure to work alongside two companies local to Nottingham and inspiring to meet people who truly love what they do and the companies they have built.
